Waverley Cottage is a fairy tale cottage in a rural setting 5 Km west of Oatlands in the heart of Tasmania (Only one hour from Hobart and Launceston)

Built in 1854, classifies by the National Trust and Heritage listed, this convict built cottage has all the charm of yesteryear with the modern facilities we expect today. The cottage resembles a church or "the little house on the prairie"

On the ground floor there is a queen-sized bed, with 3 single beds in the attic above. There is also a mezzanine floor with another single bed overlooking the large wood fireplace in the lounge below. The original spiral staircases lead to the attics.

Colour TV, microwave as well as conventional oven, all linen, fridge, electric blankets and breakfast provisions await you, as well as complimentary port and sherry and plunger coffee.

Ideally situated as a central spot to see Tasmania and live in the history of the area.
